Sleepy Hollow Landscape was created at the same time my abstract paintings Pythagorean Dream and Pythagorean Shadow. As always...I did not begin with the end in mind. As I said about my painting Umbrian Landscape I have no idea where this painting came from. What is even more interesting to me is that if you compare this work to some of my earlier landscapes it has many of the same treatments that I have applied to my earlier works. This piece even has some throwback to my graphite drawings.
