This painting started its life as a charcoal musical drawing, and there are still vestiges of that drawing visible. This painting is also a multiple triptych. But it is joined together and framed. The lyrical nature of the paint is intentional. The playful point, counterpoint of red and green...called and answered, with the trimmings.
