4x What? is a multiple quad artwork with 4 - 4"x4" canvases attached to a 12" x 12" board. This is one of two of the original quad paintings. These were created in 2018. I originally started working on all four canvases at the same time, thinking they would be separate paintings, but they hung so well together that I stayed with that format. It was interesting how ubiquitous working them all at the same time became. Giving them all a sense of belonging together.
